A new beginning?
Today is my University of Toledo interview and I am completely nervous right now! I know that I am prepared, have a super smart outfit that I look great in and that they will like me. But I am really ready to move on to a new job and I am hoping that today is my new beginning in the job world. I need to wow them and somehow stop my hacking cough and sniffles long enough to do said wowing. I will take all prayers and happy thoughts from 12:45 to 2:45 today!

The Somerset Collection
I spent the day shopping with my mom last Friday and it was divine! We didnt argue (rare) and we found some great deals. My favorite bargain has yet to come in the mail. It is a Juicy Couture Velour Hoodie and Pants. They are heather gray and were so comfy that my mom and I both got matching pairs. Now we can wear them to Cedar Point together! No. This picture shows it in green (which is amazingly cute) but it gives you the impression of the uniform I will be sporting well into the summer months.

a glimmer
a glimmer of hope that is......that I may get this great job at University of Toledo (even though UT is the enemy). So my interview is January 31st and they are only holding 1 interview, so I have to wow them at this one to get it. If I did get the job that would mean putting off my surgery until after my UT insurance kicked in. A small price to pay.
Wish me luck~

26 days and counting
Only 26 days until I go in for my tonsilectomy. I have spoken to numerous people about the surgery and I have lengthy experience with surgery so I should be prepared. I want it to be overwith though. While the thought of eating ice cream and popsicles should excite me I cannot help but think of the pain my throat will be feeling! But lets look ahead to the future: Picture a year without a single problem with my throat, no sick days taken because of tonsil problems....ah, it is a beautiful world indeed.

second year in a row
For the second year in a row Ohio State has failed to show up to the BCS championship game. They made a deal with the devil to get into the games and didnt bother coming to play. Doesnt bother me any because I hate Ohio State but I felt it noteworthy to comment on. On another note I am still mourning the tragic beating that Tulsa gave Bowling Green on Monday night, that was just sad.

new years resolutions
What would a new year be without a few resolutions? Happy, productive and noteworthy you say? Well, pish posh! I am going to make an honest attempt to stick to my new years resolutions. How? Well, I am going to make them attainable this year. I don't think my resolution last year to be a millionaire really panned out for me.
1. Save more money. I have a savings account, now I need to use it. In addition to the savings account I need to take advantage of my companies new 401K, who doesn't like free money?
2. Take a vacation with some of said money. Doesn't have to be big, but it must happen and it must be warm and beachy.
3. Move and organize. Since some of my belongings are not in their normal state of 'organized' I feel twitchy when I look at it. I am an extremely organized person and I cannot wait to have my things join me to save my sanity.
4. Watch my weight by eating better, working out and lifting. Believe it or not I used to be a rock (thank you soccer) and I feel the need to get back to this body type.
5. Work on my self esteem, self worth and most importantly: understand that I cannot stress about the things I cannot change.

I was sucked in
To the blogging world that is. I have been drooling over so many peoples blogs that I thought I would try my hand at this. And now I have something checked off of my 'must do in 2008' list. Bonus.
